The Client

Bassett & Walker International Inc (BWI) is a global leader in the procurement of agricultural commodities. They specialize in the international trade of proteins for use in the food and pharmaceutical processing industries. They define Canadian Innovation.

The Challenge

Engaging RRCS to design and produce their website BWI needed to showcase how they connect thousands of producers and processors across the globe.

Appealing to 2 diverse user groups, producers and processers, BWI required a detailed website that would convey consistent messaging, but allow the various audiences to access the information they needed quickly and easily.

The Solution

Utilizing the existing logo we initially developed an overall brand identity that supported the existing brand equity. We carefully considered how each element would work in both print and online in order to ensure we could continually build brand awareness with a fully integrated graphic style.

Our in-house team developed an extensive six-language website. With short focused messaging and engaging people-based photography, the home page of the site showcases how BWI is built on strong long-term relationships, and the breadth of their international connections and expertise.

Allowing BWI to communicate their value-added proposition with an easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS), our development team ensured BWI’s site administrators are able to provide regularly updated information to their global client base. We coordinated the translation of much of the site into multiple languages and using the Drupal multi-language capabilities provided a site that ensures all users get the same experience and information.
