We’re always up for a challenge at Red Rocket Creative Strategies, and building a new website for the BC Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) was the kind of project we dream about. With the BCCC’s 120+ chambers and more than 36,000 member businesses across the province, the organization needed a communications hub that met a long list of functional and aesthetic objectives.

Recently, Red Rocket Creative Strategies had the privilege of renewing the brand and visual identity for the Allard Prize for International Integrity at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. These are the types of projects that truly inspire us, where we get to work with courageous people who risk everything to make the world a better place.

The Edmonton International Track Classic (EITC), produced by Athletics Alberta, ranks among the world’s top 30 international track meets. The event continues to grow and attract top track and field talent from around the world. Despite this success—or perhaps because of it—the event’s website wasn’t keeping pace with the EITC demands and growing status. Which is why Athletics Alberta  approached Red Rocket Creative Strategies to do a full site re-design and re-build

The Mining Association of Canada (MAC) approached Red Rocket Creative Strategies because their existing website had become bogged down by a patchwork structure, the design did not reflect the mining industry’s strength and energy. Having seen the website we had recently completed for the Mining Association of British Columbia, MAC asked us to build a site with the same attention to detail yet with increased functionality.

We created custom typography and used all lower case letters in the company name, which gave the logo more of a modern feel. But by keeping “Capstone” in all lower case letters, the initial c did not compete with the icon. The heavy, bold font also balanced the lower case letters and maintained an image of strength, grounding and stability.

ValorCare Online Troubleshooting Guide, a bilingual (English/French) resource offers a five-step, interactive guide that leads technicians through a logical process to analyze most problems and fix them quickly. Solutions include diagrams and instructive videos along with access to a central database of all model information and service manuals. We also made the guide responsive for easy viewing on mobile devices.
