An annual report has the potential to be the single most important marketing vehicle a public company can produce. Silver Standard’s recent Annual Report is wonderful example of a document that portrays a company’s state-of-the-nation. 2006 signified the sixtieth anniversary of this enterprising resource company.


Sustainable practices are the foundation for a company’s future success. Teck Cominco, Canada’s premier mining company, is passionate about its sustainable strategies and report on them in an open and transparent manner adhering to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) stringent reporting guidelines.


Raising $1,674,000 to benefit BC Children’s Hospital Foundation at a single event is a significant undertaking and takes a coordinated effort from many people. It is a project that Red Rocket is proud to have participated in. The lunchtime, free attendance event involved a celebrity pie throw and rock ‘n roll concert that was headlined by the Juno Award winning, Vancouver based rocker Colin James and hosted by Global TV’s Wayne Cox.


Joe Plaskett is an icon of the Canadian art scene. In 1946, he was the first recipient of the Emily Carr Scholarship which enabled him to study abroad. Now in his 80’s, and a recipient of the Order of Canada, he remains prolific and spends most days in the studio painting. His work is in many of the major collections across the country including the National Gallery.
