The West Coast’s premier running event needed a facelift and Red Rocket Creative Strategies was tasked with the responsibility of rejuvenating its overall look. The project started with the logo being redesigned—four stylized runners when assembled into a pattern form the likeness of BC’s provincial flower, the Dogwood. Stringent visual standards were established that became the foundation for the numerous event deliverables: website, medals, signage, promotional materials, garments, and a litany of ads.
Experience the Energy is the tagline Red Rocket Creative Strategies created to accompany the revitalized marathon image. It’s about experiencing the high you get from running, from the natural setting of the event, from the hospitality of Vancouver’s people, from the lifestyle, the shopping, the dining. The logo and supporting colours are smartly and consistently applied to the numerous event promotional materials as well as participant medals that Red Rocket Creative Strategies designed and produced.
